Project Description > Greenways Incorporated is working as a subconsultant to SAGE Landscape Architecture and Environmental of Tucson, AZ, for the preparation of a master plan for the El Paso and Southwestern Greenway, a 6-mile multi-use trail that links downtown Tucson to South Tucson (web link: http://dot.tucsonaz.gov/elpaso/). The greenway will extend along an abandoned corridor that was once used by the railroad, from north of downtown Tucson, through the City of South Tucson to the Kino Sports Complex. The new trail will be car-free and will connect to other regional bikeways and to many of the neighborhoods that the path travels through. Greenways Incorporated's role is to provide expertise and guidance to the City and design team for the overall design, funding, programming and development of the project.
