Project Description > The Town of Pembroke, NC received a grant from the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) to develop a pedestrian transportation plan. Goals for the project include creating strong pedestrian connections between the downtown area and UNC Pembroke, the Pembroke Recreation Complex, major shopping centers, and town parks and schools.
