Project Description > Following on the successful completion of the City of Greenville Trails and Greenways Master Plan in 2007, Greenways Incorporated and Arbor Engineering have been commissioned by the County of Greenville, SC to produce a county-wide greenways master plan. This project aims to develop a comprehensive master plan that encompasses and links together existing parks, trails, green spaces, railroad corridors, sidewalks, utility corridors, roadways, and spur trails along feeder streams to the Reedy, Enoree, and Saluda River corridors. The future network will provide residents with close-to-home and close-to-work access to bicycle and pedestrian trails that connect to the County's most popular destinations. The proposed trails and greenways will serve transportation and recreation needs, while helping to encourage quality, sustainable economic growth.
There will be opportunities for public input and feedback through public workshops across the county. Please check back for updates on this project as work progresses throughout 2009.
