Project Description > Greenways Incorporated is working with the City and County of Durham on creating a hand-held, user-friendly Hike & Bike Map. A project Steering Committee is providing detailed input throughout map development, including representatives from Durham's Transportation Department, Planning Department, Department of Parks and Recreation, the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Commission (BPAC), the Durham Open Space and Trails Commission (DOST), the Durham Bicycle Coop, local bicycle shops, and local bicyclists. The goal is to have maps ready for distribution by July 2010. Details will be posted here as maps become available.
