Project Description > The City of Burlington has begun developing a pedestrian plan. This plan will provide guidance for making Burlington more walkable. Improvement recommendations will include sidewalks, greenways, and crossing improvements, along with education, encouragement, and enforcement programs. The City of Burlington selected Alta/Greenways to lead the planning effort, starting in April 2011.
This page will be updated as meeting dates and times are established, and as project materials and drafts are developed (see sidebar at left).
