Chuck
Flink, FASLA, named 2006 Distinguished
Alumnus for the College of Design at NC
State University

A. "Chuck" Flink,
president of Greenways Incorporated and
Fellow in the American Society of Landscape
Architects, has been named the 2006
Distinguished Alumnus for the College
of Design at NC State University.
The award recognizes the professional
achievements and significant contributions
that individual College of Design graduates
have made throughout their professional
career. Specifically, the award recognizes
the insights, fostering of original ideas
and search for added knowledge pursued by
recipients. Flink is the 15th recipient of
the award since 1982. The award was
conferred by the Dean and faculty of the
College of Design. Flink will be formally
recognized at a ceremony in January 2007.
